GREAT and small
all experience { l o v e } and sorrow
we're just too busy to notice most of the time.
Some months ago, these pictures were going around the web. We're bird people in my house so when I came across an old email, I felt they were worth posting for all to see again.
This swallow was hit by a car and (ultimately) fatally injured.
Here we see as her mate (?) comes to feed and attend to her.
He brought her food again only to find her dead. Here we see him trying to move her.
Having gotten no reaction, he cries out in adoring love.
He stands beside her, crying.
Aware she is not coming back to him, he stands beside her in sorrow.
